Ryan and Family,
During my time with BP Angola, I've had the oportunity to work close to your father, and it is with no reserves, a highly skilled manager and great friend.
I've only to thank him and hope you can appreciate the blessing we all had by sharing some his short time with us.
All the best for you,
Davidson Ferreira

My Condolances |
July 12, 2007 |
Dear Sandra and Family,
It was a shock to me to hear this dreadful news. Although I left the Angola project, I recently met Nigel at the aiport in London and caught up with news.
On hearing this I had this memory:
When I was leaving the United Nations Mission in Angola I said, I am not sure if Peter McKinley has made a difference to Angola, but Angola has made a huge difference to Peter McKinley"
In Nigel's case I know that Nigel Inglis has made a huge difference to Angola and all the people that worked alongside him.
His professionalism and enthusiasm for his work and ensuring that his team was safe was his only aim. His kindness and love for his people was the exception. Many of us can take a leaf from his book and follow his example.
Nigel, may you rest in peace.
